CHILDREN

Hi,
To bring up children in India in a healthy atmosphere has become very important.Now a days our children are being exposed to a large variety of things which were not easily available 10 yrs ago,like high end video games such as gameboy,psp,playstation and the latest the 4D. Parents are pressurised by their children to buy them these latest gizmos and the parents give into please their children as they in turn are ridden with feeling of guilt as they have been spending less time with their children due their own work load.
Is this right what are we doing to please our children?
Why do you think that we give into their demands? Thruthfully speaking i think one reason is to please them and remain in their goodbooks(which is very important) and the other is to maintain our status symbol among ours and their friends.
